  1. Nice review! Well-considered discussion around the use of sound... I think you could have gone into a bit more depth about the 'continuous shot' as a device for showing the party in real time, and maybe also discussed the use of colour and lighting; the changing light in the skyline outside, for example, as a way of making the viewer feel they have spent longer 'at the party' than they actually have.
    It might also have been good to explain the relationship between the murderers and Rupert; it was, after all, his comment while the boys were still studying under him, that murder is acceptable in certain circumstances, that set the ball rolling.
